No Loss in You

No Loss in You

Though I know I’m not good enough

You forever hold my hand

You bathe me in your love and grace

Goodness to great to understand

Bring me back to what really matters;

Making Your heart glad

You are the refuge I run to

Your love is the best I’ve had

Amazing love washes over me

I’m moved by Your spirit

I can only stand and worship You

Let all creation hear it

None Like You

None Like You

I sing you praise my precious God, there is none like You

I give you glory my beloved King, all I want is in You

I worship You with all I am, nothing can take Your place

I give myself to You my God, there is nothing like Your grace

Allelluah to You Lord, You are my King and my Maker

I give all I am to You for You are the great peace maker

All power to you Prince of Peace, ruling from Your throne

You stand alone to rule the Heavens as no others have known

I wish to pleaseYou more than all, to bring joy to Your heart

Let each of my days be just with You and never be apart

My Shelter

cropped-dscf3205.jpg

Based on Psalm 91

When you sit sheltered under the shadow of El Shaddai

You are hidden in the strength of God Most High (TPT Ps91:1)

I can only say of my God that He is my confidence, in Him I trust

I lay my life in His hands, for His ways are always just

He is the hope that embraces me, the Stronghold to shelter me

Ever present and fighting when my foes aim to swelter me

How I love to rest under His wings hidden from my foes

He watches me in all my days He saves me from my woes

He commands His angels to gather around me and guard me

They will lift me up to not let my enemies bombard me

Because I love Him, He protects and keeps me free from harm

I will sit forever sheltered in His loving arms

I Write This Poem

I Write this Poem

I write this poem to honour God for all that He has done

For saving me from the fowler’s net, for all my enemies He has won

I write this poem to give God glory, His majesty divine

I long to praise and worship Him, His salvation now is mine

I write this poem to give God thanks for all His mercy and grace

I long for the day I’ll see Him enthroned and look upon His face

I write this poem with love and awe for all my Lord has given

Most of all He took my sins and now I stand forgiven

From My Cave

From My Cave

In the midst of the cave

haunted and torn

you called me to life

and I was reborn

“out of the darkness

i called forth the light

created the universe

and made your world bright”

I hide in the shadows

but they are your home

working your will

when I think I’m alone

“Embrace me, my child

as I show you my ways

Be not afraid

as I master your days”

With fear and trembling

I reach for His hand

So scared of tomorrow

So alone I stand

Help me dear Father

To run to your arms

Show me Your love

Pour out your charms

Light my path, Light my days

As I stumble and fall

Grasping at faith

To You I will call

How Can We?

Victoria, so precious as a baby

How Can We

How can the years pass so slowly when moments pass so fast?

How can we take the precious moments and bottle them to last?

How can we live in the moment when we waste our days?

How can we teach the young to learn is much more than to play?

How can we look a baby in the eye and not say a prayer?

How can we pass the homeless on the street and not give a care?

Why don’t we listen when we know that in helping others we help the Lord?

How can we live in indulgence when the needy are so ignored?

How can we know of the broken hearted and not lift a hand to pray?

How can we change the way we live our lives, starting from today?

Wandering Girl

Wandering Girl

Broken and destitute, lost and gone

She wanders her way as she saunters along

Ignored and forgotten, who’s child is this

That once was a wee one who adored mother’s kiss

She breaks the heart of those she once knew

Then a beautiful girl, now broken and blue

What can I do to undo this oppression?

She is ruled by darkness, stuck in depression

Where can I turn when life leaves her behind?

Unnoticed, forgotten, spiritually blind

I pray for God’s mercy to draw her in tight

I pray that she’ll relent to Him and give up her fight

I pray for peace to embrace her poor, tortured soul

I pray for God’s blessing to see her once again whole
